Courtesy of fiulijn. Pitch black pour with a thick tan head. The nose is soft and a little bit chocolatey. Very clean sort of malt character. A bit of raisin and roast malt but it also has a lean sort of palate. A touch of bitterness on the back. Decent stuff but pretty unusual. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Cerveteca Lisboa in Lisboa. Black in color with a small tan head. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, anise, molasses, ancho chiles. Flavor is smooth sweet and bitter chocolate, anise, toffee, roasted chile. Full and smooth feel, soft carbonation. Pretty good! Going to øl in a handbasket tonight!

Pours with a decent beige head that soon dissipates. Taste cerael red wine tannin sprinkle of brown sugar good but just lacks some complexity.

Bottle. Pale for an imperial stout. Aroma is coffee, cereal coffee, smooth caramel, pumpernickel bread, honey, dried fruits. Mouth is dry, roasty, quite bitter. Extra warming. Woody booze, tannic. Lacks some complex body. And time. Good for a sore throat.
