Bottle, blue label. Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, ginger and hops. Sweetish taste of caramel malt, sugar, and yeast, with notes of hops and gingerbread spice, and touches of fruit. Estery and malty aftertaste with fruity hints. Reasonable. Quite Christmassy.

fin sødme i øllen, uden den smager af brunkage, så for mig er det en rigtig god juleøl.

Courtesy of Jaghana. couleur cuivrée trouble, très legere mousse. Nez leger caramel. Gout moyen, malté, caramel, note fruits rouges avec amertume astringente en fin de bouche et vieux fruits. Decevante pour cette brasserie

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with low head. Nose is a bit metallic with some caramel sleeping there. Aroma is low, some caramel, still metallic hints, light fruits, very boring, very watery , low bitterness, ripped fruit aftertaste.

Flaske. Rødaktig lys karamellfarget. Moderat karbonert rynn skumrand. Smaker karamell,kandis,rosin/plomme,anis og noe furunål i ettersmaken

Bottled 330ml (Vm Kirkenes)
Amber color, small off-white head. Malty, plummy aroma. Medium-bodied. Front is a bit sugary, anise, harsh maltyness, plum. Belgi yeasty and spicey. Combination gives an image of old harsh beer. Not my cup of tea.

[email protected] Beer Session (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Slightly hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly spices and some slight earthy and mild figs to it. Flavour is cinnamon, figs, ripe fruits, some slight sugary and clove to it. On the verge of being a bit too much, but maintaining the balance just by a fine line.

rane (1100) - Nibe, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2016
Bottle. I´m sitting with a version with blue label, but the name is right. A red beer with huge brown head. Aroma dried fruit, yeast. Taste quite dry, spices dried fruits. A nice beer from a great brewery.
