Bottle from YNWA Beershop, Kolding. 8. December. Pours clear brownish red with a small, creamy beige head that settles as a thin film. Aroma has sweet malts, cherries, plums cake, ginger cardamom, pepper. Medium carbonation, light creamy and fairly dry mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet caramel malts, a bit of chocolate, soft anise, ginger warmth. A tad dusty in the background. Solid if unspectacular.

Pours a hazy dark red with a white colored head. Aroma is of plums, raisins and spices. Especially cloves. I get the belgian aroma on this beer immediately. Mouthfeel is rich and sweet if maybe a tad too carbonated for my taste. I get loads of raisin, plum, candisugar and caramel. I didnt really like this beer as much as id hope to. Maybe its the carbonation, maybe its because its a tad too sweet.

Fine X-mas dark amber ale from Norway. The foam disappears quite fast and left is a very rich aroma of spice (ginger and anise. The taste is full and slightly complex with notes of good notes of plum, raisin and anise. A very enjoyable X-mas beer
