This double IPA is copper colored and bitter, but balanced by the malty flavors. The 20% rye malt gives this beer a nice bite which helps bring the massive hops together.
Malts: pale malt, caramel malts, rye malt, oats. Hops: Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo. Aroma: piney, resinous hops, with notes of fresh fruit, spice and caramel malt. Food pairings: salty and fried foods, grilled red meat and Indian curry.

Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

Hazy light amber, tiny white head. Caramely, slightly piney aroma. Flavour has pine and grassy citrus with caramel malt backing. Not particularly interesting.

Mosby54 (27) - DENMARK - MAR 18, 2016
Bottle. Cloudy amber with a tight, white head. Aromatic with some sweet notes and definite oatiness on the back end. Initially balanced, but the hops have a lingering bitterness... in a good way. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Diabobale (507) - ITALY - FEB 27, 2016
