COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

This double IPA is copper colored and bitter, but balanced by the malty flavors. The 20% rye malt gives this beer a nice bite which helps bring the massive hops together.
Malts: pale malt, caramel malts, rye malt, oats. Hops: Simcoe, Chinook, Amarillo. Aroma: piney, resinous hops, with notes of fresh fruit, spice and caramel malt. Food pairings: salty and fried foods, grilled red meat and Indian curry.

Editor’s note: First served on tap at 7.7% ABV.

Taste comprises orange pith, hint of grapefruit, melon, light rye bread, pine resin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light mineral rinse Nd hop bitterness evident.
