Botella de 33 cl. En Cimeria. Color oscuro con espuma blanca marfil no muy persistente. Cuerpo ligero - medio. Aroma dulce a pasas y ciruela pasa. Sabor tambin dulce que recuerda algo a las quadruples belgas con poco amargor. Buena cerveza.

Smells good and taste good. I find this beer a little yeasty with nice taste of caramel and raisins. Some bitterness.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Slightly hazy mahogany brown color. Aromas of raisins, caramel and toffee. Bittersweet flavor with raisins, figs and dark caramel. Oily palate with stingy sharp alcohol. Medium to full body. Alcohol sharpness is dominating and it is hard to enjoy this beer.

Bottle, 24/12/13. Pours a dark reddish orange, the color being a bit weak, not deep at all. Yellowish-brown head that dissipates into a blanket fairly quickly. Aroma is a lot of raisin and dark fruits. Some date, raisin is strong. Light ethanol, some caramel and dark bready malts. Taste is a lot of dark maltiness, a lot of dark fruits. Raisin and date. Surprisingly light with a lot of carbonation. Alright, but not sure if Id actually want to have one again since there are often better alternatives.

Dark ruby with a cremy head, long lasting. Aroma is fruity sweet caramel malts, toffeeish, cognac, with a hint of alcohol. Taste is ripe fruits, sweet malts, raisin, warming and quite wintery indeed. Smooth mouthfeel, a bit short finish with no real bitterness. Warming alcohol. Nothing special, but still rather pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cerveza ale color mbar oscuro, espuma casi inexistente blanca, gasificacin baja. El olor es bastante dulce y a malta caramelizada. El sabor es muy acaramelado con cierto toque a frutos rojos. El final es dulce y algo alcohlico. Recuerda a algunas barleywine.

Smell of cognac, apple. Muddy with beige head. Aroma of apple, raisins, oak, syrup, cognac. Sharp alcohol, flat carbon. Oily texture. Sweet finish, otherwise somewhat bitter, mildly sweet and sour-ish.

33cl bottle, takk Palme! (EU Swap-II). Nice balance between mild raisin/malt roast, none too sweet caramel, nor too heavy; raisin fruitiness, winter spice made palatable by the use of a perfectly attenuated yeast = dry, old ale palate. Almost rolled out the bear skin - very well done!

Hazy reddish brown color with a little but lasting head. Aroma has dried fruitiness, berries, syrup and spiciness - overall impression is similar with many British Barley Wines. Taste is sweet, malty and spicy. Dried fruits and berries are prominent along with malty elements, alcohol features a bit in the finish. Hoppiness is discreet, fairly mild. Palate is medium bodied and fairly flat. This could use a bit more body and the alcohol made it a little harsh. Not bad though, a warming winter ale.
