(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 14.08.16, from Alko, 20131108) The beer poured brown. quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel, treacle and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, caramel, sweetness, hint of hops and low bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. The strong malty body is a sign for aging potential and aging may tune down the sweetness which was a bit too intense now.

330ml bottle. Dark copper color. Small size, white head, stays. Smells woody and sour. Tastes like Belle Vue Kriek mixed with some shitty macro. And Im totally aware that its not a good thing to say to any beer.

Flaske 0,33l - gave fra Rune. Takker! Gyldenbrun / amber. Hyt svakt farget skum som starter hyt men flater ut i lpet av et par minutter. Forsiktig maltaroma med fruktige undertoner. God. Smaken litt sherryaktig men alkoholen slr inn etterhvert og overtar. Trr fruktig ettersmak. Litt uvariert - men en god "winter warmer". Dette burde vi ha mer av p vre breddegrader.

330 ml bottle. Clear copper body with a fine, creamy beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, brown sugar and dry fruit with just a little hint of alcohol. Flavor of sweet malt, but not as sweet as expected from aroma, in fine balance with the bitterness and alcohol. Also caramel, candy sugar, dry fruit with a bitterness that becomes more obvious in the aftertaste. Long aftertaste with more bitterness and warming alcohol. It a fine beer, not perfect but Lervig is definitively into something here.

Bottle @ benzai. Very hazy redish colour with a small off-wjite head. Smells raisins, malts, horribly sweet, molasses, syrup. Tastes molasses, syrup, rinse appelstroop, sweet, raisins. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle. Deep amber body with a small, quickly disappearing off-white head. Nose is caramel, raisins, booze and a bit of bread yeast, which I find kinda strange. Taste is strong notes of caramel, with some tones of burnt sugar, roasted malts, alcohol and hints of raisins. Smooth mouthfeel. Burnt sugar again in the aftertaste, flanked by some boozy notes. Well integrated flavor profile, if not too overtly exciting all in all. A nice winter warmer, and a pretty drinkable - and likable - beer. Best one from Lervig that Ive had so far.

Flaske fra Polet og p Cardinal, jan-12: Har likt denne hver gang jeg har prvd. Interessant med den utpregede rosinsmaken. Hper de lager en ny batch av denne.
