UPDATED: FEB 11, 2017 Lervig Brewers Reserve Winter Ale. (Rum)rozijntjes, caramel, veel donker fruit. Heerlijk winters met sherry-achtige afdronk. Neigt zelfs een beetje naar een barley-wine. Veel beter dan verwacht. Topbier. hanabel (15) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAR 13, 2011
Strong beer! 8,3% I really like the hint of raisins here. Easy to drink, and very good with spicy food or snacks. KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2011
Bottle. Sweet malty aroma. Lovely toffee and raisin flavour. Port, almonds. Dry hops discreetly balancing it all. True craftsmanship. Leighton (22812) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2011
Bottle at the 1st CBC Sunday Tasting. Thanks to the Cad. Pours a gorgeous amber with a small, white head. Winter berry and spice aroma. Medium to big sweet flavor, just subtle raisins, bit of caramel. Some golden raisins. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Warm finish, sweet berries, some light raisin notes, toasted sugar. Pretty sold beer this. Reffs (6) - Roskilde, DENMARK - APR 28, 2015 does not count
A real treat! Gentle despite it’s amount of alcohol. It is very tasteful with a pleasant appereance of rye malt.

Bottle thanks to Rune. Cheers my friend. Hazy brown russet colour with lasting creamy beige head. Very malty aroma with some raisins on the aroma. Middle of summer but hey never stopped me drinking a winter beer. It is a really malty beer. It does remind me of something like Youngs Winter Warmer when I first ever had it. I like it. Always liked winter warmers. Balanced and some hop bite on the finish. Really very good I thought. Tasty toffee and malt. Really enjoyable. Good hoppy bite on the finish. Wow, this is a good beer. Hmm, good winter warmer. Gorm (1899) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 29, 2013
