On tap. Pours a clear warm amber with a dense creamy off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Sweet caramel and overripe fruit, toffeeish with some heat. Solid body, sweet caramellish, a little minerally, nuts and a subdued bitterness. Pleasant. 270511 abemorsten (3692) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2011
Tap at Cardinal. Murky orange with a creamy, light brown head half a finger thick and lasting. Sugar, malts, alcohol whiff onn the nose. Raw impression. Alcoholic and sweet with a hoppy character a bitter finish. Dry. Full body. Odland (139) - NORWAY - MAR 26, 2011
On tap @ Cardinal. Tried it the fist day they severed it. Pours red amber with a good head. A very sweet taste, with hints of candy sugar and fruit. Not much hops. A very unbalanced ale, and I am sorry to say that I returned it. A good effort, but way way to young. 6+ months of maturing left. Shows promise but too young. gunnfryd (15652) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 27, 2011

Amber, with a beige->mocca head.
Aroma; alcohol, dried fruit (raisins), toffee, and a hint of coffee. Some christmas-spice.
Aroma; same a nose, with a dominating alcohol. Very hot indeed. Nuts is also present in the mouth. Good carbonation, medium+ body. Unbalanced with the alcohol.
Summary; this is really high on the alcohol, save a few kegs for next year! yngwie (17487) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 13, 2010
On tap at Cardinal. An unclear amber beer with a finger thick beige head. Some lacings. The aroma has a good dose of alcohol, along with caramel, coffee hints, dried fruits and a tiny spiced touch. It’s very warming in the mouth, full-bodied and with an appropriate level of carbonation. Malty sweetness, dried fruits and some caramel and coffee. Nuts too, at low levels. Warming, sweet and rich finish. Overall, too warming, it should be bottled and then cellared for a year. Nice anyway. 101113 Geokkjer (7676) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 13, 2010

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Cloudy brown colour, moderate beige head. Moderate aroma of brown candi sugar, leather and spices. The flavour has notes of (Belgian?) ale yeast, brown malts, brown candi sugar (without being very sweet), spices and alcohol. Moderate hops in the finish, fairly bitter aftertaste.
