visionthing (5495) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 25, 2017
33cl can from Gulating Trondheim. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Mild malty and fruity aroma with slightly floral notes, hints of honey and grass. Moderate sweet with mild flavours, but a certain bitterness. Easy to drink and fairly enjoyable.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - SEP 13, 2017
33can bb06/2018 from either Meny or Gulating Trondheim - probably goes for much less in a Berlin Edeka... - Typically tame, sub-Vinmonopolet 4,7% but likeable rendition of a modern hopped up lager aspiring to Pils nobility. - Pleasant light cornflake + lemonade aromas that run through a light body into a wysiwyg flavour. Tangerine and lemongrass remain subdominant exotics underneath the watercolour EU grains and herbal hops.

Skinnyviking (9674) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2017
Draught at Kød & Bajer. Low but lasting fluffy white head. Hazy yellow body. Weak straw malt aroma. Mild flowery straw caramel flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short finish.

DutchDrebus (6093) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - AUG 30, 2017
Can @ home. Clear golden colour with a medium sized white head. Smells hops, fresh, grains, malts, sweet. Tastes malts, grains, definitly hoppier than a Bavaria, but still a bit boring. Thin body, nicar crisp carbo.

Moravius (1403) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 29, 2017

Juks (943) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 1, 2017
330ml can. Pours pale yellow, white head stays. Aroma is grainy, floral, malty. Grassy, dry in aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbo. Not bad lager.

Fin smag af en lagerøl, men den mangler noget humle i at blive helt god. Go maltprofil

Sorry, I don’t understand pilseners. I really struggle to separate the bad stuff from what is supposed to be good. To me Fat Earl is not at all bad, but hey, it’s a pale lager, so how delicious can anyone possibly find this brew? It does have a crisp aroma, but pale malts, cereals and nobel hops with a background of citrus and hints of fruitiness are only that interesting. The moderate flavour follows the aroma, with additional grass and grapefruits, and traces of metal. It has a rather nice bitterness that follows the initial light sweetness, but there is too little flavour from the hops. Light and dry mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. So... let’s call it... uh... nice-ish?
[33 cl can, enjoyed 8 months before BB date, from Coop Ullevål, Oslo]
