Fin smag af en lagerøl, men den mangler noget humle i at blive helt god. Go maltprofil tfredvik (1939) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 13, 2017
Sorry, I don’t understand pilseners. I really struggle to separate the bad stuff from what is supposed to be good. To me Fat Earl is not at all bad, but hey, it’s a pale lager, so how delicious can anyone possibly find this brew? It does have a crisp aroma, but pale malts, cereals and nobel hops with a background of citrus and hints of fruitiness are only that interesting. The moderate flavour follows the aroma, with additional grass and grapefruits, and traces of metal. It has a rather nice bitterness that follows the initial light sweetness, but there is too little flavour from the hops. Light and dry mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. So... let’s call it... uh... nice-ish? djoeye (4605) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 11, 2017

Aroma; malts, caramel, cartoon, mild hops, some mash.
Look; golden near-clear body, vanishing off white top.
Taste; mild malts, bread, wort - with hops popping gently up at last.
Feel; balanced, nice body, normal co2.
Overall; premium lager/pilsner, pizza-friendly.

Found in a Berlin supermarket for a fairly shocking (by local standards) €2.99 per 33cl can. However... It is pretty good. Lightly hazed, orange-tinted gold, nice-looking sticky white foam. Herbal and floral nose, hints of elderflower. Moderately bitter, off-dry, light residual sweetness. Flavorful, balanced quaffer. Hope to find it on tap somewhere at a fair price. drjoeng (1230) - SINGAPORE - JAN 1, 2017
Tapped out cloudy gold. 6ºSRM.
Nose is beery, light with a clean carbonated aroma. Dough and flour. Light hint of lime and minerals.
Mouthfeel is light and beery. Good carbonation. Palate is solid pale malt with biscuits. Hops are there, a bit more hop forward which is appropriate for this style.
Finishes hoppy with a noble hop bitter.
Very good. I almost want to put in on the list...in fact I think I will.
