On tap at the Hop Locker. Gorgeous NE IPA with a thin foam. Scent is loads of hops. All late. Taste is bog standard, well rounded IPA flavors of sort of toast. Finish dry and Bitter. Very good.

June 2017 - Can share at 1 Canada Square. Big thanks to Leighton. As ’Lervig Hop Locker DDH Simcoe IPA’, 6.0%. Hazy pale orange, translucent, foamy off-white head leaves dotted lacing. Aroma is boiled sweets, lemon sweets, sugary, Haribo. Body is light and slightly frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste has a little tangerine, fruit squash offset with resin and a floral dusty bitterness. OK. (7-4-6-3-15=3.5)

Can share at Chriso’s, cloudy amber-brown with a fine head, herby milky pineapple orangey nose, earthy malty palate tending to dry and pithy bitterness over milky earth.

500ml can. Dark, hazy orange with small white head. Big mango, passionfruit, tangerine, blood orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit, some yeastiness, bitter + slightly dry finish. Medium body with light carbonation.

Can. StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Very hazy, deep orange. Thin and sticky, off white head. Now, I can’t work out if this smells old and fusty, or simcoe, pissy fusty. Some pine. Some baked citrus. Bit of menthol. Some flora. Lots going on, certainly. Taste is lip sticking sweet, with plenty of piny, earthy bitterness. Fairly light mouthfeel. Piny, citrus oil bitterness to finish. Jury’s still out.

Big hop aroma, great spicy, pine flavour, and a bitter hop finish . Low level of carbonation.

500ml can. Hazy orange pour with an off white head. Aroma: orange, mango, citrus and tropical fruit, slight earthiness. Taste: exactly the same as the aroma, very juicy, light initial sweetness followed by quite a citric bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Not usually a fan of single hopped IPAs but this was really well done.
