Can sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel. Thanks Max. Dark brown-black with a beige head. Roasty aroma, some floral hops. Roasty taste, bitter and also sweet and even a little smoky. Smooth, medium-bodied and soft fizz.

Dunkler, röstig-hopfiger Antrunk. Steigend hopfig, geringe Bitterkeit. Im Hintergrund eher wässrig, dunkle Malznoten, die Hopfigkeit gerät in den Hintergrund. Spritzig, langer monotoner Nachhall. Okay. 9/8/9/8/11/9

Can from wine-boutique, Felixstowe. Pours black with a good sized lasting beige head. Aroma of hop, moderate roasting, chocolate, citrus, slight nut, coffee and pine. Medium milky chocolate sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Dry, chocolate, roasted finish. Enjoyable.

33cl can
Apperance: a nice dark body with a off white good sized head on top, which leaves only a few spots of lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, herbal hops, licorice tones ,malts
Taste: Quity malty licorice, aftertaste not much hops (allthough well 8 months before the best before date)
Thin body ( even a bit watery), gentle carbonated. (inline with body)
Black IPA -Missing the IPA part.
Not good, dissapointing.

3.5
Szopeen (619) - POLAND - SEP 21, 2017
Piwo nieprzejrzyście czarne z bujną, beżową pianą. Aromat kawowo-czekoladowy z delikatnym akcentem chmielowym, w smaku tego chmielu jest już trochę więcej, goryczka co najwyżej średnia.

3.5
Cimbasso (1024) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2017
Sampled from a can - thanks Holmen 1!. Almost black in colour with beige head. The hops of the original version are here, but with the addition of roasted malt flavours of coffee and chocolate. The roasted flavours are not too predominant, allowing the grapefruit and pine flavours to come through well. Long aftertaste. A very good, well-made beer.

33cl can. Hazy dark brown with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice bitterness with subtle sweet tones. Roased malts, caramel, pine, bread. Good stuff.
