33cl can Apperance: a nice dark body with a off white good sized head on top, which leaves only a few spots of lacing. Aroma: Citrus, herbal hops, licorice tones ,malts Taste: Quity malty licorice, aftertaste not much hops (allthough well 8 months before the best before date) Thin body ( even a bit watery), gentle carbonated. (inline with body) Black IPA -Missing the IPA part. Not good, dissapointing.

Piwo nieprzejrzyście czarne z bujną, beżową pianą. Aromat kawowo-czekoladowy z delikatnym akcentem chmielowym, w smaku tego chmielu jest już trochę więcej, goryczka co najwyżej średnia.

Sampled from a can - thanks Holmen 1!. Almost black in colour with beige head. The hops of the original version are here, but with the addition of roasted malt flavours of coffee and chocolate. The roasted flavours are not too predominant, allowing the grapefruit and pine flavours to come through well. Long aftertaste. A very good, well-made beer.

33cl can. Hazy dark brown with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice bitterness with subtle sweet tones. Roased malts, caramel, pine, bread. Good stuff.

Can @ Benzai is uitgepierd tasting, 10 cl sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Lots of roast in aroma, bit coffee grind, some piney hops. Bit thin in taste, dry, soft bitterness. Ok

Benzai (16522) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2017
Can @ "Benzai is zo dood als een pier tasting". Opaque dark brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, definitely some hops in there as well. Taste malts, dark malt, roasted malts, hops, hop bitter. Medium body, medium to firm carbonation. Quite nice.

Much nicer, fuller and tastier in the middle, a brilliant dark black beer with a lovely just milky coffee white head. That bitterness at the front though goes to the lingering and that’s not it’s best point, but I’d have this again it’s not bad,
