Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Geruch Zitrus und Grapefruit. Antrunk zitrusartig, würzig. Mitte Würze, Malzschübe. Würziger Abgang, moderat bitter, lange ausklingend. Gut.

Quite good, but a bit boring. The taste is nothing special. The smell is like any other APA out there. There is simply nothing special about this. But it is nothing wrong either. So... I have tasted it, and now to something else.

Bottle. Pours a dark orange colour with a thin white head, plenty of fruit in the aroma, taste Is light with plenty of fruit and hops, with a dry bitter finish.

C’est vraiment sympathique comme bière et je le dis sans ironie ! Amertume discrète et fruitée. Alcool léger. Agréable, passe très bien

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy pale golden coloured with a thin white foamy head. It has tropical fruit and orange flavours, a malty body followed by bitter pine on the finish. Great.

belgis (521) - - JUL 24, 2015
Airy but nice foam. Mild hop aroma a bit of passion fruit kind of murky yellow. Bitter aftertaste but perfectly not too much.

HaraldB (18) - NORWAY - JUL 20, 2015
Aroma av sitrus, kunne gjerne hatt litt mer snert. Samme i smaken, tørr. Kunne gjerne hatt noe mer sødme/maltkarakter. Fin bitter ettersmak. God butikkøl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
