Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Nice american pale ale from Norway’s brewery Lervig. Fresh can, easy, nice head. First rate! :)

Lite tunnare smakmässigt. Igen samma mix av fruktigt/juicigt och mer sött kakigt/maltigt. Mjuk och fin humlesmak med låg beska. Trevlig!

Mighty fine pale ale with especially nice aroma and smell to it, tastes similar to some of Uiltjes productions. Easygoing beer, one of the first Norwegian I’ve tasted.

330ml can. Pours clear golden, white head stays. Aroma of butter, grain, malts, grass. Taste is bit tart, floral, grainy. Medium body, average carbo. Tasty brew with a nice toutch of hops in aftertaste.

Pale beer with some small white flakes floating, grapefruit? Lovely nose with fruity citrus notes and floral. Tastes like the summer, wonderful session beer. Would have said more but do not like bits floating in my beer!!!

33cl bottle. Hazy dark golden with a medium white head. Citrus, pine and light malty. Nice.

That sharp bitterness at the front transitions to the dry finish with a bitter lingering note. Looks ok in the glass nice start white head that doesn’t last long though. Aroma is understated and a bit dull.

en rigtig god ale, der dog nærmest er en ipa. den er vel humlet............
