Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), were adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. Its beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

33 cl, can conditioned. Golden amber, creamy one-finger off-white head medium carbonation, LOTS of sediments giving it a murky/dirty appearance. Aroma-wise the american hops hit your nose within a second after you crack the can open. Its piny, grassy and citrusy. Mouthfeel is dry, dank, sticky Taste is hoppy and bitter, grapefruit up front. And maybe some flavours from the yeast, Im not sure. Not the best APA around.

Pale Ale på ekte amerikansk vis. Florlett, fruktig og forførende friskt. You might get lucky, Jack!Pilsner/Crystal // Amarillo/Citra/Chinook Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway. ---Rated BY Italianbeer85

A nice hoppy aroma og tropical, caramalt and grass. Taste of the same. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. The taste stands a little bit back for the aroma. A decent supermarked (4.7%) APA. 0,33 bottle.

Puszka 0,33 l. Aromat cytrusw, w tle nuty trawiaste. Barwa ciemnozłota lekko, zamglona. Piana biała o niskiej obfitości, drobna. Redukuje się do kożuszka z nieco większą obrączką, trochę zdobi szkło. Smak wytrawny, umiarkowanie gorzki. Dominują nuty cytrusw. Finisz gorzki, krtki. Wysycenie średnie.

330mL can BBE: 29/05/16. Well-chilled (approx. 6 degrees). Pours a cloudy amber body with small, off-white, crown. Dense with small floaters. Medium-low intensity (perhaps due to over-chilling) hop-forward aroma with grapefruit and dirtier, more resinous notes. A medium-high bitterness blasts through a light sweetness on the tongue, with a hint of hoppy sourness in the background. Light-bodied with an abrasive texture, high-medium carbonation and an abrupt finish. A nicely-balanced, sessionable ale that doesnt sacrifice character for its ease of drinking.
