bartlebier (3530) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2013
33cl bottle from Mondial de la Bire, Mulhouse, who must have struck a few interesting bulk import deals... Inviting fresh and fruity citrus & grapefruit hop aroma, turning into harsher Chinook pine in the taste, with a light APA body barely able to sustain that hop force. Easy drinking, with a slightly conflicted twist some might find more appealing.

Tap at SF bar. Hazy golden with a white head. Spicy hop aroma with some citrus. Taste is quite spicy and peppery, some citrus and a yeasty earthy finish. Smooth with a lingering not unpleasant yeasty finish. Ok

330ml bottle from Irma sterport. Deep, golden colour with a dense, small, white head. From the aroma I get citric hops, grapefruits, pines and grasses. The taste is refreshing, lightly bittersweet with fruits and caramel malts. Medium body with soft carbonation, nice and lasting finish with the flavor notes. Taking in consideration this is a just a 4,7% abv. beer, this is really nice. Ignore the backside of the bottle where the label says serve at 4 degrees C. Far to cold.
