Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Hazy amber, not much head. At Brasserie Posten, Geiranger. Light and mellow for APA, the hops are a bit disjointed, but the balance is straight SNPA.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Clear golden/amber beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy milky aroma, perfume, grass, toffee, pine needles, grapefruit notes, roasted, some caramel. Hoppy fruity flavor, grassy, metallic, some dill. A few flaws, I do prefer the aroma from this beer. Decent though, with a hoppy metallic finish.

Bottled @Beer Hunters
Slightly hazy yellow-orange color, small white head. Grassy, light citrus nose. Light bodied. Tasty, citrus-hoppy flower. Lingering citrus in the aftertaste. Refreshing and nice.

Bottle, thx to tarjei. It pours a sparkling golden body, slightly hazy, and with a finger-thick, creamy, off-white head on top. Nice lacings. The aroma has a good dash of peaches, along with citrus and pine cones. The malts are quite subdued. Flavorwise it’s on the bitter, hoppy side, with peaches, lemon notes and hints of pine cones. A sweetness from the pale malts blends in and gives body. Smooth on the palate, and it slides down dangerously easily. A bit metallic in the end, but mostly bitter and fruity. Overall, a really nice one, both tasteful and easy drinking. Definitely a beer that should be available all over the country. 101231

330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Nice hoppy fruity aroma. Watery palate. Some flaws, I get tomato again. A pretty crap pale ale, it’s just weak. Dull malty base, has that crystal malt stickiness I don’t like. DIsappointing after the nice aroma.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, very fruity, grapefruit, hops. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, firm bitterness. Decent body, a bit firm carbonation. Nice beer.

Bottle, 4.7%. Sweet flowery aroma, elderflower, it seems. Almost clear golden colour. No head, at the least very unstable. The flavour is not as flowery as the aroma. More like rough.
