Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Fantastic beer! Great aroma with a hint of peach. Herlig lang ettersmak av sitrushumle. Nydelig ferskenduft. Lettdrikkelig.

Birra davvero beverina!!!

The best beer one can buy in norwegian shops (below 4.75ABV). Perect for a hot summer day, but also great with spicy food.

Tap at Cirkus Bar, stavanger. One of the best apa’s out there. Great hoppy aroma and taste, nice bitter aftertaste! A beer I always go back to after tasting other Apa’s.

Tap at Holmens bar. Lots of floral hops in the aroma, a bit less hops in the taste. Clean an easy to drink. Also some citrus in both aroma and taste. A very good ale.
