Fruity flavour of hops, grass and pine needles.
Dry hoppy finish. Sigmund (7462) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2010
330 ml bottle (filtered and pasteurised), also sampled unpasteurised on tap, both courtesy of Lervig brewery. Deep golden colour, big to moderate white head. Very nice aroma of American hops (Chinook, Amarillo and Citra - also dry hopped), notes of orange marmalade and pine. Refreshing flavour with distinct hoppy notes throughout, citric and resinous notes, not too sweet, bitter finish. Light bodied, ideally this should have been a beer around 5.6% ABV, but then you have the Norwegian limit at 4.75% ABV for beers sold in grocery stores, making it necessary to compromise. Still, this is an enjoyable beer as it is. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2010
UPDATED: APR 14, 2012 On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours light hazy golden with a small white head. Nice hoppy fruity aroma. Taste is fresh, dominated by the fruity hops, some passion fruit makes this a good balanced brew. Promising beers from Lervig this year, whats next?

Pours clear copper with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma has lots of plant sap, resiny hops, light caramel in the base. Medium carbonation, light but pleasantly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, very peachy, resiny, light dry, apricot. Really nice and fresh and instantly drinkable.
Bottle, thx to tarjei. It pours a sparkling golden body, slightly hazy, and with a finger-thick, creamy, off-white head on top. Nice lacings. The aroma has a good dash of peaches, along with citrus and pine cones. The malts are quite subdued. Flavorwise it’s on the bitter, hoppy side, with peaches, lemon notes and hints of pine cones. A sweetness from the pale malts blends in and gives body. Smooth on the palate, and it slides down dangerously easily. A bit metallic in the end, but mostly bitter and fruity. Overall, a really nice one, both tasteful and easy drinking. Definitely a beer that should be available all over the country. 101231

Trade with Yngwie, thanks my friend. It’s hazy, warm golden with a huge, creamy and white head. The aroma has notes of citrus and other fruits and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of citrus, malt, exotic fruits, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. It’s refreshing, fruity and charming. Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, grapefruit and maybe som cookies. Flavour is hoppy with citrus, tropical fruits, cookie-like malt, and a refreshing grapefruity bitterness. Light to medium bodied with a rather lively carbonation. A tasty APA! Great bitterness to it, very hoppy taste and aroma, Fruits as well. Bitter finish, more hoppy than other APAs I have tried. On the downside it feels slick and doesn’t have much of a body. Golden colour, white head. All in all I think this is a great feast by Lervig to make such a beer while keeping the the ABV down (obviously for reasons of Norwegian legislations). Bottle. Aromatic, flowery hops in the nose, with a bit of grapefruit. Rather bitter hoppy taste, though balanced with a moderate amount of somewhat-fruity malt. A nice IPA. Psytron (2279) - Turku, FINLAND - JAN 18, 2013
Very much hops. Bitter, mildly sweet, lively carbon. Also some spruce. Amber colour.
