Lucky Jack is just about the perfect beer for summer. Grapefruit, tropical fruits and citrus flavours from the Citra and Amarillo hops are apparent in the aroma and taste. But we decided to go one step further and actually make it the perfect summer beer. Beginning this spring (2016), we’re adding grapefruit juice to some of our Lucky Jack tanks. Now you can have all the flavour of Lucky Jack with a twist: a perfect medley of citrus from the addition of grapefruit juice. It’s beautifully refershing on a hot summer day on the deck or at the beach.

Malts: Pilsner and Caramel.
Hops. Perle, Citra, Amarillo, Chinook.

Aroma: grapfruit and citrus.

Food pairings: BBQ chicken and ribs, tortillas and guachamole, fresh fruit salad.Inspirert av iddisen Senior, Stavanger Norway.

Can at home. A really lovely APA. Goes down well after a long drive. Goes really well with cheese. Has a very easy to drink taste. I’ve had this many time before but never rated it.

Light citrusy aroma. Nice golden colour with a small white head. Good citrus and fruity taste with a sharp fresh bitterness. Not as long aftertaste, but overall a really good and fresh beer.

Mitt favoritt butikkøl for tiden. Friskt med god sitrus bitterhet i lukt, smak og ettersmak.

Bottiglia Roma. Il colore si presenta arancione chiaro, aroma truttato e luppolata. Corpo medio, non troppo carbonata. Beverina. Buona.

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy pale golden coloured with a thin white foamy head. It has tropical fruit and orange flavours, a malty body followed by bitter pine on the finish. Great.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2012 A very refreshing APA with brewed with amazing amarillo-hops. Aroma of citrus and cereal. Golden to amber colour. The taste is quite bitter, but smoothly balanced with the other ingredients. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy light amber color. Very nice hoppy aroma, with delicate citrus fruits. Light mouthfeel; dry toffee flavor, crispy, with correct bitterness and delicious citrusy hops, fresh; it also has a touch of manure; the final shows more citrus peel.
A perfect British modern Golden Ale.
