Botte. Tastet at friend’s place. A great cross-over of a saison and an ipa. It has retained the umamiesque richness of a wheaty saison and paired it with a moderately hoppy ipa. Very nice! OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2012
From keg @Henrik, Bergen. Shady pale golden. Low fine-bubbled blond head. Fruity hop nose, tropical and citrus with a sharp edge to it. Taste is a pretty nice mix of fruity hop and fresh belgo yeast. Very refreshing. Light to medium body. Well attenuated. Dry, yet smooth. Finy fruity and light spicy endnotes. [08.09.12] Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 2, 2012
In short: A nice blond fruity/grapefruity APA calling itself a Saisongunnar (9217) - Sandnes, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2012
How: Tap at Henrik Øl, Bergen Norway
The look: Clear blond body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is more IPA than Saison with an aroma that is dominated by grapefruity hops with some pineapples in the back and maybe some other tropical fruits. Taste is also very much aligned with the APA/IPA style, nothing rustic/farmhouse here. Soft bready pale malts, some cookie dough, generous amount of refreshing tropical fruits hops, grapefruit skin, some apples. An overall good attenuation which is the only thing Saison-ish about this beer, otherwise is was a fine APA, I liked this one a lot. A good beer, apparently only available on tap in Norway, it is fun to travel but when I’m at a pub I hate to be asked where I come from and then I have to give the whole birds and bees speech.
On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours light hazy straw coloured with a thin white film on top. Aroma is fruity with a funky twist. Taste is dry, funky fruity sweetness, dry and fruity palate. High carbonated. Some spices right at the long lasting end. Moreish.

On tap at Henriks, Bergen. Misty golden with a lasting creamy beige head leaving excellent lacing. Wonderful plum marmelade and tropical fruit on the nose. Fruity, spicy, gooseberry fresh in the mouth. Exciting flavors. The bitterness is mellow and pleasant and enduring. Medium body. Fitting carbonation. Great beer.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape, peach and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long fruity, peach and slightly dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Slightly hazy golden with a small but dense white head. Mild but almost extremely fresh-in-the-nose aroma, slightly acidic citric and tropical fruits. Flavor is refreshing, slightly acidic fruity as promised from the aroma, pleasant bitterness and a hint farmhouse style as well, but this comes in the background of the refreshing fruits. WOW this is a nice combination of Saison and IPA with the Saison as the dominating part. Medium body and light funky aftertaste with lots of fruit and some kind of sharp bitterness that gives a tart impression. Rune (12982) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 24, 2012
Draught, 350ml at Henrik Øl & Vinstove. Pale golden, near naked surface, dotted spots at the glassware. Wheat fruity aroma. Tart and sweet citrus fruits to the taste buds alongside a touch of dark honey. Dry spiced, bittersweet ending. Refreshing without reaching any further (Bergen, 16.09.2012). yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 7, 2012
On tap at Henriks. It pours a lightly unclear body, golden in colour and with a lasting white head. Quite fruity on the nose, tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of cat pee. A hint of pepper too. Some malty hints. It’s rather dry on the palate, medium body, pleasant carbonation. A pleasant bitterness and fruitiness in the finish. A really tasteful one, worth a session or two. 120907 tmrmwel (2156) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 27, 2012
On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours light yellow with a finger thick head. Aroma is yeast and sour fruitiness. Full body, with a soft to medium carbonation. Flavour is quite sweet with yeast, orange and oak, as well as a bitter sting from orange peel leaving a nice bitter grapefruit hoppiness in the finish.
