COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A thirst quenching session beer, Sour Suzy mimics a classic German brewing technique (sour mashing) to impart a light, refereshing tartness. No hop bitterness and very low hop profile, Sour Suzy is not your typical session beer - rather it delivers something a bit more obscure and intriguing. It drinks as refreshingly as a glass of lemonade. The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrussy hops lend bright notes to the aroma, which is accentuated by the addition of Makrut lime leaves.

Malts: Pilsner and wheat. Hops. Styrian Golding.

Food pairings: seafood (white fish, mussels, crab) or as a palate cleanser between dishes.

Overraskende god øl, at denne type. Sur øl, men overraskende frisk. Flot klar øl.

Color giallo paglierino con schiuma quasi assente. Corpo leggerissimo con prevalenza di note citriche. Dissetante.

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy pale straw coloured with a thin white head. It has a tart lemon and citrus flavour with a slight thin body and a bitter-sweet sour finish. Not bad.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 0,33 l Dose.

Canned, 330ml at The Grapes, Oxford. Hazy pale yellow straw with white head. There is a pretty light, thinnish sourness to this, lemonade notes with just a slight edge of tartness. Never really gets going for me so slightly disappointing.

Golden color, white head with short retention. Aroma has notes of light citrus. Flavor has notes of German hops, moderate bitterness. Light sourness in the final, some watery mouthfeel on palate.

Cytryna, czerwona porzeczka? delikatna kwaśność, słody. Dosyć nudnawe, niewyraziste.

KeefOz (1987) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - DEC 4, 2017
BB 10/07/18. Poured a crystal clear pale gold with 5mm of bright white dense foam head that diminished slowly to a blotchy cap that retained OK but laced poorly. Carbonation high, lively and fine to coarse. Aroma subtly of sour fruits and fermented wine with hints of citrus zest. Taste was initially slightly sweet followed by quite sour citrus/lemon; a bit acidic; flavour drops off quickly. Light body. Smooth and refreshing with a thin mouthfeel but with a bland finish.
