On tap @3 brasseurs Strasbourg. A slightly cloudy copper brown beer with low head. Nose is on grain, cereals and toasted caramel. Aroma is on malt, cereals, caramel, correct body compared to the rest of the taps, some sweetness, chestnut is difficult to detect but there is a good malty basis. Again the tap beer are too cold.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Perfumy chestnut aroma, kinda flowery. Medium body, heavy caramel and again these perfumy chestnut notes. I somehow doubt it’s all natural! A little late roast. But drinkable at least. 090212

Bottled from the Lyon location. A slightly hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of chestnuts, malt, fruit, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, chestnuts, malt, and a bit of honey, leading to a dry honey-like finish.
