zacgillbanks (5446) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2013
Bottle from Carrefour, Calais. This is a dark amber beer with a sweet caramel and red fruity flavour, slight sugary notes and a warming creamy vanilla finish.

Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 18, 2012
bottle from Calais Vins. Clear, glowing orange amber colour, small off-white head. Slightly fruity, malty, with caramel and roasted malts. Dry hoppy finish.

imdownthepub (15161) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2010
Bottled, 750ml Cork & Cage from Carrefour at Coquelles, Cite d’Europe, France. Red amber with white head. Up front there is a sweet, caramel but pine wood resin flavour. This settles into a dullish sweet malt with a slight carbonation. Little in the finish.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 23, 2007
Bottle. RBESG. Amber colour with good white head. Yeast dominate the aroma, there is also sugar present. Sweet sugary in flavour with fruits and a soft mouthfeel.

Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 21, 2007
Lasting off-white head covers this amber bodied French ale. Yeasty immediately and softly malty, the combination of which creates light fruity notes reminiscent of peaches and apricot. Simplistic malt profile, but soft and drinkable, not too sweet. Almost no hops chime in this pillowy ale of Belgian carbonation and medium body.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2007
A Mes rate: Bottle at LCRBM3. Amber with a decent white head. Sweet malt aroma with a little toffee. Sweet and almost sickly flavour that is a little cloying. Nutty finish. Not great.

harrisoni (19187) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 12, 2007
Bottle at LCRBM3. Attractive clear chestnut colour with lasting thick beige head. Lots of candy sugar, caramel, some raisins. Good easy drinking beer.

skortila (5970) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2007
3rd LCRBM. Aroma has grass, some caramel malt. Clear, copper coloured with a thin, off-white head. Taste is sweet, bit bitter, hoppy, some spice with caramel. Bit dry. No good.

bierkoning (13614) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2007
3rd LCRBM. Cinnamon and brown sugar in the aroma. Bittersweet, somewhat sugary and spicy flavor with cinnamon. Nutty bitter aftertaste. Somehow I’m not enthousiastic about this beer.
