Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Light perfumy grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Caramel and cookies, some pine and grapefruit peels. Piney bitter finish. Edgy and caramelly IPAs is not my thing. Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 4, 2012
Hazy amber. Phenolic and a little bit woody aroma. Sweetish and caramelly, with hints of mint. Too sweet forcthe style and needs a real blast of hop. Lubiere (13905) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2009
A dark clear amber IPA with a thin creamy off white head. A nice British hops aroma, fragrant, orangey, smooth and classy. In mouth, a nice hoppy ale with sweet notes, grapefruit hops. Rich and smooth. On tap at brewpub July 21 2009. Sammy (12201) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2009
Enjoyed with the brewer at the brewpub. Unfiltered, 60 IBU. Good orange citrus, a tad of grapefruit. Warrior hops. jercraigs (10374) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 19, 2009
2009-11-17. Crisp orange amber body with a modest foamy beige head. 3+ Aroma is interesting, leafy hops, notes of herbaceous vegetation. 6+ Flavour is similar with strong vegetation notes to the hops that vary between nice and a bit off putting Pleasant bitterness, odd fruity character. I have tasted something quite similar but can not recall where. Mild resin. Touch of pepper?? No citrus to speak of. Malts are supportive. 6+ Average palate suits it. Perplexing. (Edit - this does not seem much like the beer previous raters describe which is disappointing. Different batch? Old? Who knows) On tap at the brewpub

My Bottom Line:mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
Coniferous and leafy hops grace this personable India Pale Ale, as caramelized and toasted grain balance everything out. This is very flavorful and accessible, straddling English and American stylings.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam protects the amber-tinged copper.
-The hops are also citrusy at times, ending up in a levelled resinous bitterness.
-Malts are superbly extracted here, as they are in all of their beers.
-The mouthfeel is nourishing yet quaffable, and moreover superbly polished. This reminds me of Siboire brews (to name another highly professional Québécois brewpub).
On tap at the brewpub.
[5877-20131004] Tap. Grainy orange-infused aroma. Clea, amber orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter grains and orange flavour. Medium body is quite bitter. Good, simple bitter. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

Some tangerine citrus on head. Pours clear reddish orange with good head and lacing. Finishes with good bitterness. Soft carbonation. Nice palate. Tap at brewpub. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep golden-orange with a small diminishing creamy white head. Nice aroma, it’s hoppy but also unique, along with lots of leafy hops there’s some sweet fruit, pepper, caramel malt and a hint of alcohol. Delicious flavour: Dry, slightly spicy hops along with some fruit, caramel malt and with a big bitter finish. Average bodied. Very good!
