On tap at the brewpub. Copper with a foamy off-white head. Slight haze. Flavors are toasted cereals, spicy rye, pepper and dried cherries with nutty and fruity notes. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, oily texture. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - APR 6, 2015

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a clean amber-brown colour with a small head and minimal lacing. When stirred, farm notes appear. Then, fruity malts and light darker grain. The taste has bite with a hop kick start giving bitterness. Then, going into the fruity malts, ending on a decent dryness with the rye lingering. Interesting brew, but not one of my favorites. cargo150 (1289) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 16, 2014
Couleur brune-cuivrée avec un mince col résistant. Aromes de caramel, épices, céréales sucré, herbe, un peu terreuse. Interessante mais sans plus!

12 oz at the brewpub. Very murky brown-deep copper with a thick, creamy light tan head. Quite sweet, grainy, fruity, a little raw grain, light berries, a bit peppery, a touch of tang, decent if a little...unfinished? Medium body, relaxed eff. with a few prickly bubbles. Fruity, estery, yeast, tastes a bit rushed to me, decent malts, some rye character, still seems unfinished; dry with good bitterness and a nice toast crust and toffee finish. Draft: Poured a brown color ale with a nice foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of spicy rye notes with some light caramelized malt notes. Taste is a very drinkable mix of spice rye malt with light caramelized malt notes. Overall mix is more dry then sweet. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well done and easily drinkable. cfrancis (3512) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 20, 2011
Pours a reddish brown with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, small hop aroma and a slight spice. Taste is a tangy mixture of malt and hop. Quite nice but not as awesome as some of their other beers. jercraigs (10651) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 18, 2011
2011-05-18. Dark red-brown body with a nice small beige head and lace. 3+ Flavour has a malty base, earthy toasty caramel notes, pleasant bitterness throughout, modest resiny notes, finish has an interesting hop/malt blend that is familiar somehow. 7+ Aroma has sort of a tangy note to the malt, modest green leafy hops. 7+ Smooth average to medium bodied palate. Pretty decent. On tap at the brewpub czar (9266) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 23, 2011
