On tap, at the brewpub. Pours hazy copper, not much of a head however. Interesting nose : smoke is quite subtle, but the dominant aroma is probably... peaches, as opposed to smoked ham. Totally unexpected. Still fruity in the mouth, but not that much. The smoke taste kicks in a little later, just before finish, which is more malty than anything else. asheft (3088) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 22, 2010

Smoked salmon aroma with faint caramel. Almost clear light amber with a white cover. Sweet, smokey green apple flavour with some lychee. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, tangy smoke finish. blankboy (7702) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 6, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Pours a semi-clear orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma of smoke, toasted malt and fruit. Nice easy-to-drink flavour follows the aroma but with the smoke being more subtle. Average to medium bodied. I quite liked this. sseb69 (1911) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 22, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2011 En fût. 5.5%. On tap at the brewery, slight hazy amber hue, with a ring of white head, nice smoked salmon, bacon, chips nose, with some earthy toasted, caramel, bamberg smoky malt accents, with a faint, fruity, toffee, biscuity graininess note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, smoked maltiness character, reminiscent of good smokey salmon, ham, meat and chip flavours, with a mild beechwood undertone, leading towards a yeasty, fruity, lingering smoked malty finish. HopsandBolts (258) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2014
On tap at the brewery.
Appearance: Pours a hazy golden copper colour with two fingers of very dense head that lingers.
Aroma: Campfire smoke.
Flavour: Campfire smoke, smoked bacon, coriander and a hint of malt.
Overall: A decent Raunchbier but I wouldn’t mind slightly more pronounced flavours apart from the smoke. Also, I found it a bit one dimensional. AleRider78 (1333) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2016
On tap at brewpub. Pours a pretty large frothy creamy beige head and has a fairly clear amber appearance. Lots of thick dirty lacing. Aromas are quite smokey immediately, some spices, woodsy hints and hints of earthy hops. Flavours are toasty malts, hints of caramel and has that smoked malt taste in the finish. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. Lubiere (13941) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2010
A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice herbaceous malt with nice smoked ham notes. In mouth, a nice refreshing rauchbier with light smoked malts, light honey notes, very quaffable, ideal for BBQ. On tap at brewpub, April 16 2010. trapped (3218) - New York, TURKEY - JUL 11, 2011
Drought at Les Brasseurs du Temps, Gatineau on 6 July 2011. Red-amber color, off-white spongy big head, woody aroma, smoky flavor, medium carbonation, abrupt finish. Very good beer.
