On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy blonde with a thin foamy white head. Flavors are bread, wheat, pear, banana, bubblegum, white wine, spices and alcohol. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, creamy texture.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy golden, small head. Peach, bread and marzipan up front. Quite sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Spicy hops, syrup, guava and marzipan. A bit sticky with warming white pepper finish. Too sweet for a tripel in my books.

4.2
Gluepot (723) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2016
A low white head, well laced, tops a translucent orange/amber body. The nose features cloves, nutmeg, peaches, oranges and sweet malt. some lovely juicy tastes going on here. A punchy array of hop and ester based fruits lead the profile, including orange, peach, melon and lemon. A light, sweet bready malt base, cloves and other spices sit in the background, as does Belgian yeast. Slightly sticky with a slick mouth feel, but the overall effect is mitigated by significant carbonation and some acidity. Superior.

AleRider78 (1456) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 31, 2016
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a very little head, just a very thin layer, and doesn’t stick around long at all. Has a golden appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of oranges, citrus hops, bready malts. Flavours are mostly of oranges, very fruity, hints of belgian yeast and spices. 9%abv is actually quite well hidden. Goes down well. Great retention. Full bodied mouthfeel.

radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 9, 2015
750ml bottle from Marche Jovi in Gatineau, Quebec. Cloudy yellow in colour with a long lasting large white head. The aroma is of pineapple, oranges, light spice, candied sugar. The flavour is of citrus, namely pineapples, lots of oranges, some applle, quite spicy, lots of bitterness and sweetness. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes long, very bitter. Really good stuff.

Bamsen78 (5562) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2015
Draught @ the brewpub (10 o’clock). Pours hazy straw with small but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and fruit, with touches of yeast. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour with notes of flowers and caramel. Lingering, bittersweet aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel and warming alcojol presence. Nice.
