on tap at bateau de nuit, qc. slightly hazy light yellow with a small white cap, little retention. very light bananas, spices and wheat. light to medium acidity - unpleasant in this beer style. almost aggressive carbonation, light body, short herbal-citrusy finish. meh.

341mL bottle poured a hazy blonde color with big white head which settled to some spots of lacing. Aroma of bananas and yeast. Taste is lightly sweet up front followed by some yeast and a lingering bitter finish which was not pleasing. With the exception of the finish this was quite a good wheat beer.

Fairly standard blanche, not bad but not very exciting either. Decent wheat tasting malt but not a lot of spice or subtleties in it. Seems a little bit over carbonated as well.

Pretty meek head when I pour it - its got to lose points for that. Cloudy bright yellow. Aromas: banana quite noticeably. Less graininess. To taste - much less banana, much less everything. First thing I get is some dull bitterness at the back of my mouth. Lively, fruity notes come through briefly in the middle, but the finish is a dull characterless sweetness.

gramity (1706) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 4, 2011
Hazy yellow with a thick white frothy head with medium retention. Aroma is bread, malt herbal hops and a hint of spices. Flavour is raw cereals, wheat, yeast and herbs.

Heavy front end of citrus and some banana. Very solid wit, would enjoy this again for sure.

341mL bottle, pours hazy golden with a small head. Fairly underwhelming aroma of wheat, grass and citrus. Flavour brings a puckering citrus flavour upfront, with weaker hints of wheat and grass. Not too impressive.

341ml bottle. pours cloudy yellow straw, minor white head. Spicy aromas, floral, rose, grain, wood, smoke and nuts with a touch of yeast and hop zestiness. Light-medium body, medium carbonation, touch of caramel in there, a touch of tartness on the palate - finish near dry-sour.
