UPDATED: JAN 20, 2018 W aromacie czekolada, ciasteczka, melasa, lekkie palone słody, delikatna wanilia, kokos, nuty beczkowe intensywne, sos sojowy w tle, bourbon, brandy.

Bottle split at Leighton's 20K, thanks to Daniel, 01/03/17. Light black pour with a decent tan covering. Nose is mellow roast, brandy apple snap, spice, charr, dark malts, liqourice, chocolate. Taste comprises sweet licks, toasted brown sugars, light black peppery spice, chocolate, toffee, subtle barrel, roasted tones. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid porter.

Draught @ Darby’s Gastown. Dark brown with a bubbly head. The aroma showcases rich fruity, plummy depths, vinous brandy notes, a touch of vanilla, and quite a bit of dark fruit notes. Soft body has elegant sweetness, deep fruits, rich brown sugars, expressive bourbon sweetness, and just a hint of alcohol. God lord this is beautiful. Wow.

In an evening filled with Baltic Porters, Les Trois Mousquetaires G.C. Porter Baltique (Bourbon & Brandy) was the only one that wasn't actually from the Baltic region, and it was our favorite. This is a robust, complex Porter with class to spare. Near-black pour with a sexy brown head - excellent lacing and retention. This is a complex tasting profile that varies with the degrees of temperature. Oak, vanilla, dark fruit, boozy syrup, chocolate, caramel, coffee, and leather all make appearances at one point or another. Viscous texture and a warm feel. This is an exceptionally tasty and lovely Baltic Porter. Certainly one of the best that I've enjoyed.

Bottle. A- Cherry, brandy, dark red fruits, vanilla, oak,. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Cherry, brandy, mild sweetness, subtle cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- The brandy seems more prominent than bourbon but it's still really good.

2016 bottle aged for a year. Awesome accident, Brett infection gone right. Huge cherry pie, roasted hazelnut, dark chocolate and a touch of leather funk on the nose. Flavour is great, much dryer than the bottle I had new last year. Roasted nut, cherry, a bit of cold brew coffee. Just so complex with the addition of Brett L, my only regret is I didnt leave it longer so it could express itself more!

Large caged and corked bottle purchased from the brewery at the source, in Brossard, Quebec, Canada. Purchased today; bottled just this past week. Had to have one of my three-bottle-limit stash, just to see how it is. It's amazing! I will cellar the other two bottle to see how the flavors evolve. So, here's the rating...Caged and corked bottle poured in sipping increments into a snifter a nearly opaque dark brown color with a very tiny spritz of tan head that immediately disappears, leaving behind a trace of lacing on the glass as you drink. Aroma is faint, but detect Kona coffee, salted caramel, dark dried fruits, cocoa and smoke. Flavor is intense, a real mix of flavor that both come at you all at once and are detectable in layers as it makes its way through your mouth -- all enveloped in a sweet-smokiness: I taste all of the following: dark coffee, molasses, dark chocolate-covered cherries, vanilla beans, campfire marshmallows, molasses, raisins, figs, dates, prunes, plums, brown bread, almonds, filberts, and a brandy- and bourbon-barrel char. Mouthfeel: full-bodied, slick; coasts tongue and top of mouth.
