Nice tan head with used motor oil pour. FlVors of smoke and cherry come through in the nose. Very little smoke from the malts. Initial taste is tart cherry into choclate and coffee charry finish. Overall really nice but I would really like to see this aged in or with virgin oak barrels/chips for the price.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2017 Bottle. Pours black color with an average frothy tan head that was lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy toasted chocolate, citrus and complex alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a thick smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted dark sweet malt flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid porter.

750ml bottle shared with brother. Aroma: cherry, molasses, light ashes, light apples, shows some signs of ages. App: dark brown like a dark Pepsi, minimal beige head sign little lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, light to medium sweetness, light to medium body, soft carbonation, light to moderate acidity finish. Overall: not bad for a 2011. Tbh I expected this beer to an acidity bomb but it’s not. Body is a bit slim but that’s expected for this year. Good stuff.

Pours your typical Porter/stout black, with a small tan head. Aroma is malts and maybe a hint of licorice. Hard to explain the taste, dark fruit, booze and chocolate maybe? overall its a good Baltic Porter but not the best Baltic I’ve had by far. Would drink again though. The warmer it gets the boozier it gets.

Real nice dark and sharp porter. Nice roasted flavourings and vanilla. Seriously well balanced.

Bottle at WVRST, but I forget when. :( Hints of bourbon and wood on the nose. The un-aged variant is one of my favourite beers with more complexity. Lovely.

Bottle 750ml. [2010 version,412/700] Pours very dark brown with a pretty low beige "head". Minimal to no lacing. Aroma is of bourbon, wood, dark fruits, caramel. Taste is of bourbon, wood, dark fruits, caramel. Palate: Full bodied. Low, but existing carbonation. Overall: A tad heavy/swilly, but not cloying. Better than what I remembered.

75cl.Aromas bottle sweets reminiscent of applesauce Good head of a lovely creamy brown. The complex flavor notes include some molasses. Beer dominated by sweet molasses and caramel, with some smoked to final. The beer is very smooth on the palate. The fizz introduces a lot of depth. Overall a great beer and a good sipper.
