COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unlike typical porters, our Baltic Porter is brewed in the traditional style as a bottom-fermenting lager. The result is a luxuriously round, but robust, black beer with a mild bitterness. A special blend of roasted malts provides this porter with flavors and aromas of chocolate and coffee, and you’ll enjoy it’s subtle hints of cherry-smoked malt.

Hot damn. Draft at Churchkey in DC. Pours dark brown without much of any head. Nose of wood, mild smoke, some fruit and light cherry notes, and some cinnamon. Mild shag tobacco. Cocoa. Taste starts off sweet but ends with a nice bitterness. I repeat: hot damn.

Team cukrzyca, a wiem co mówię! Świetny, słodki aromat palonych słodów w typie czekolady, razowego chleba i toffi. Lekko utlenione. W smaku natomiast jednowymiarowe i okropnie słodkie. Kleista tekstura, syrop. Wysycenie niskie.

Kuriozalnie przeslodzony na mdląco, kandyzowane owoce w wersji syropowej, zabija to przyjemność degustacji. Moje kubeczki smakowe odmawiają współpracy przy takiej ilości cukru. Porterowe nuty toną w lukrze.

bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JAN 8, 2018
Corked bottle. Black. Malt and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet. Caramelly and velvety flavor with vanilla and hints of licorice. Full bodied. Nice.

geolgau (544) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - DEC 6, 2017
Nose is subtle and sweet, coffee and chocolate with notes of toffee and cherries. Clean and rich porter, feels very balanced. Coffee beans and chocolate, cherries, dark berries, soft roasted malt. Clean, fresh finish. Minimal residual sweetness, feels very balanced. A pleasure.

Daboch (250) - Gdansk, POLAND - NOV 11, 2017
Alkohol znakomicie ukryty. Klasyka stylu

(bottle) Aroma: cherries dipped in sweet coffee. Appearance: black color, medium-sized brownish head. Taste: semi-sweet, flavour of sweet coffee, cherries and roasted malt. Palate: full body, low carbonation. Overall: Great, complex baltic, BA versions must be perfect.

Gluepot (758) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2017
Low tan head on a near black body. Nose is subtle and sweet, with coffee and mild chocolate with undertones of toffee and berries. A beautifully blended, clean and rich porter. Smooth coffee and chocolate elements, cherries, dark berries, a touch of crème brule, and soft roasted malt add to a subtle blend. Clean, fresh finish as expected with a bottom-fermented lager-based dark beer. Minimal stickiness and residual sweetness.

Quick3Beers (1515) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Pours a near black from a bottle, tan head dissipates into a ring. Big chocolate aroma, similar flavor with a nice light smokiness. Very good beer.

A: Pitch black with a small tan head that quickly dissipates N: Coffee, prunes T: So smooth! Molasses, smoke, fruity esters P: Medium O: One of the best beers I have ever had

MarcoDL (5478) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and caramel. Taste has bitter licorice, caramel, chocolate, nuts and a bitter finish. Too much licorice for me.
