bottle at dak’s 9/5/10. brown shade of yellow with a small white head. it smells and tastes like tart lemon, metal, slate, dust, orange and rubber... not in a good way...

Pours hazy orange-tinged amber into a weizen. Tan micro head with good retention recedes to coat surface leaving no lacing. Caramel, bread and toasted nut aromas. Past it’s prime with sour caramel, nuts and mild clove. Lasting bitter vegetal finish.

Weird brown color. Mixed candy and fruit malt aromas. Very high taste of alcohol and strong candy taste. (Tasted 2009 version 10 % ABV).

750ml bottle fromjsprime. pours orange with a lasting white head. typical house nose, some weisse aspects. big aged pale malt flavour. drinks like an aged belgian strong ale. id be hard pressed to identify this as a weisse, imperial or not. super easy to drink. fun beer.

Gathering at Paul’s house. The aroma is sweet, bubble gum, candy. The appearance is hazy amber, white head. The flavor is fruit, cooked vegetables, bubblegum. The finish is sweet, and light earthy hops. Smooth, syrupy mouthfeel. Unexpected, and actually good.

Decent strong wheat beer, nice wheat taste but the alcoholic heaviness is a bit too dominant. Doesn’t really have a complex bouquet of flavours nor one especially intense flavour. Not a classic in the style but still a decent beer.

Bottle shared at the 5,000 party. Poured an orange/amber with a foamy medium sized mostly white head. Aroma is spicey, ripe banana, cork, cloves, wheat and corriander. Flavor of bad banana, spice, yeast and corriander. Fuller body with slightly fizzy carbonation and a touch of heat. Interesting beer but a tad hot and fizzy.

Bottle- Clouded pale straw with a thick rocky cap of white head. Spiderweb lace on on the glass. Nose is quite boozy, with citrus, yeast, pear, and floral hops. Very fruity citrus profile with drying pithy bitterness and floral hops. Lingering pear and apple meet heavy carbonation and a creamy finish. Full bodied with alcohol a bit more noticable than I’d like.

750mL bottle, pours hazy golden with a big white head. Wonderfully floral aroma with tropical fruits (mango, apricot, peach), citrus, orange and wheat. Flavour is equally compelling, though featuring spices upfront, followed by orange, citrus, the tropical fruits, wheat and finishing again with these spiced notes and clove. Most exceptional beer.

Bouteille 750ml.
