Pours a solid red-brown, with a thin and rapidly disappearing head. Some spotty lacing. Nose is nice soft rich malt, lots of toffee and some dry fruitiness. Pleasant but not mindblowing. Palate is more dry maltiness, some fruit, a scant suggestion of hops, and a sweeter finish. Overall a perfectly servicable Vienna.

Bottle. Thick but relatively porous off-white head on dark amber. Moderate roasted malt nose. Cookies and hints of caramel. Perhaps a trace of vanilla. I find this beer a pleasant surprise in the mixed pack. Flavour is just like the aroma. A nice biscuity, toffee, roasted malt beer. Not as malty as Brooklyn but a tasty drinkable beer. I think it is well done.

1,89$ for a 341ml bottle. Aaaah! Thats why this beer is so unhoppy, bland, and boring: it is a Vienna. Almost no bitterness, only sweet caramel malt, notes of smoked malt and some sourness. Ill avoid this one if Im ever looking for a good "rousse" (amber ale). Its more a style problem than a brewer problem here...

341 ml bottle from La Trappe a Fromage, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. OC13/08.

App.: Slightly hazy, light copper, moderate off-white foam. Aroma: Sour, nasty burnt hazelnuts, nasty old cigar, vegetal, nasty. Palate: ??? Flav.: ???

Gave up. Truly infected and awful.

Fiery-foxy, deep copper colour with a dense, creamy, cream-coloured head that proves quite stable. Very chocolatey aroma; chocolate "truffles" with cacaopowder, bark- or rootspices, sweetish, toffee. Bitter first impression with background toffee and roasted chocolate again. Some amber/roasted malts obvious. Very carbonated MF, rather light body, some slickness. Watery finish. I like the onset of this beer very much - a more-bitter-than-usual Vienna. Unfortunately, the bitterness fades quickly away, revealing more and more the inherent emptiness. Still - not bad. Thanks for the collecting job, I&I

341ml bottle, the label is Aramis, not Rousse. Huge PSSSTTT when i open up the cap. HUGE head as im pouring, it wont stay down no matter how sloly i pour the beer. As i examine, its a dark red beer, a nice amber color, and we got some floaters! Aroma right off the bat is very malty. Loads of caramel malt, some slight fruit, like apples, and pears, and some yeasty notes. Flavour is a tab hoppy, and also sour, i think this beer is on its last legs, it not spoiled, but its very close. There are some sour grainy notes.......not sure i can finish this. Nope, i cant
