Metalchopz (3315) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2012
Originally rated April 2005 (when it was named "Aramis"). Bought this one at the "Trappe Fromage" in Gatineau, Quebec. This vienna pours an amber-copper colour with a decent head, that doesnt last long, but leaves foamy lacing. The nose is pretty pronounced with malt and hints of molasse. The taste has a slight sour start, to a bitter middle and then leads into a nice smooth caramel malt finish. The bitterness still lingers. A modest amber lager for session.

muzzlehatch (4940) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 18, 2005
341 ml bottle. Clear reddish-orange with the faintest of white foam-caps...indistinct toffee-chocolate nose is pleasant when you can get anything...bit of sourness hits at first on the tongue, quickly fading to a caramel sweetness and light toasted malt, perhaps a hint of almonds and orange. Tolble.

Bottle. Medium body, red with a large white head. Very hoppy aroma for a vienna, with a drier hop finish than expected.

Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 2, 2009
Pours a solid red-brown, with a thin and rapidly disappearing head. Some spotty lacing. Nose is nice soft rich malt, lots of toffee and some dry fruitiness. Pleasant but not mindblowing. Palate is more dry maltiness, some fruit, a scant suggestion of hops, and a sweeter finish. Overall a perfectly servicable Vienna.

Pours a dark red-brown, with a minimal white head. Aromas of toasted malts and caramel Tastes of toasted malts, sweet caramels, with some nut and spice flavours in the background. Overall slightly above average but not a stand out in anyway.
