Light red lager with a malty diacetyl aroma. Rather plain beer (the brewer even admits it) but it is still a nice little number. SimonB (66) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - NOV 27, 2004
Bottle. Fully diminishing small white head. Copper colored body. Vegetable, caramel, molasse? and a bit toasted grains aromas in my nose. The flavors are more interesting then the aroma. Your expectation could be quite low when smelling the beer. Hints of munich and caramel malted grains that contributes to an initial sweetness/maltness. Still some sweetness toward the end but nicely balanced with fair bitterness. Too light bodied beer for the style (or according to my taste) still some kind of mouthfeel, too soft carbonation. Too bad, both the aroma and the watery body makes this beer less interesting even though I can see the potential of something (especially in the flavor profile), still need a lot of work I guess... destroye7 (312) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 3, 2006
341 ml bottle. Clear amber color (going to orange). Metallic aroma. Low carbonation. A little bit sour. There is a little bit of preservatives in this beer. robinvboyer (4698) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2008
341ml bottle, the label is Aramis, not Rousse. Huge PSSSTTT when i open up the cap. HUGE head as im pouring, it wont stay down no matter how sloly i pour the beer. As i examine, its a dark red beer, a nice amber color, and we got some floaters! Aroma right off the bat is very malty. Loads of caramel malt, some slight fruit, like apples, and pears, and some yeasty notes. Flavour is a tab hoppy, and also sour, i think this beer is on its last legs, it not spoiled, but its very close. There are some sour grainy notes.......not sure i can finish this. Nope, i cant bedainedebiere (539) - Terrebonne, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 26, 2009
1,89$ for a 341ml bottle. Aaaah! That’s why this beer is so unhoppy, bland, and boring: it is a Vienna. Almost no bitterness, only sweet caramel malt, notes of smoked malt and some sourness. I’ll avoid this one if I’m ever looking for a good "rousse" (amber ale). It’s more a style problem than a brewer problem here...

pours clear light brown reddish with a tall and looking abnormal off-white head, good retention and lacing. metal and slight acidity upfront: carbonic acid confirmed. nutty and fruity malts, grass, pepper, hint of brown sugar sweetness and earthiness. aggressive carbonation, light body, herbal-grassy short finish. Caramel malt aroma with some vegetable-like DMS. Clear copper coloured with very thin white fully diminishing head. Mildly sweet caramel malt flavour with gentle balancing bitterness. Very low carbonation. Watery, still mouthfeel. Bottle. Pyrozoid (361) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2008
Bouteille de 341 ml. Une biere de couleur rouille brumeux avec un mince collet moyennement collant de couleur beige. Odeur d’épices, de pin, sirop d’érable et un semblant d’herbe. Gout de blé, pain brun et humidité. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - APR 2, 2010
Amber colour. thin white lace. malt aroma with slight hint of nuts unfortunately it seems a little sour. thin texture, slight sour flavour. hints of malt with a bitter finish.
