Corked big bottle, bought from some luxury food shop somewhere in Rosemont, Montreal. Pours dark red with slightly tanned small head. Really malty, caramel, some toffee. Bitter finish. Very good. Fules (1498) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - FEB 12, 2018
Kicsi, tartós hab, sötét vörösréz szín, szűrt. Virágos, enyhén citrusos illat. Íze virágos, malátás, kissé fűszeres és lágeres. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon jól sikerült láger.

Visual: (cellared for 2 years). Twisty steel top, corked. Pours translucent copper red (SRM=19), barely any head, a thin hazy layer of micro retention, lots of slow steady micro streams. Unfiltered.
Nose: strawberry, fruity malt (lvl-3)-pungency
Attack: sharp crisp bite, sweet malt impression
Mid-palate: (lvl-4-sweetness), biscuity caramel, strawberry, toffee barley malt, micro CO2 mouthfeel, smooth bitter hop transition
Finish: lingering bitter hops, toasted malt exhale
Summary: Extreme balance of pleasant sweet caramel malts and an underlying red fruitiness, accompanied by a prominent hop presence. shawnmurphy (738) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - NOV 27, 2017

Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Drunk at home. Caramel brown, clear with a ring of off-white head. Toffee, sticky malt, and peanuts in the aroma with a bit of TCP. It's sweet but not overpoweringly so: there's an earthy hop balance in the latter half of the sip that lingers through to the caramelly, spicy aftertaste. Notes of fresh dates as the fallout disappears. A tough style to bring off at times but I enjoyed this. Jabic (761) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - OCT 21, 2017
Ar: Tangy overtone and biscuity and toasty malt layers; fairly clean, with caramel backbone. Ap: Amber and hazy; medium-small light tan head, with low retention, settling into a ring of foam and solid haze of cover. T: Clean malt backbone--mixture of toast, biscuit, and caramel; red apple and pineapple; very herbal hop flavor; high, fairly clean bitterness; finish is lingering toast. P: Medium body and steely, with high carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: A bright showcase of malt and hops; very firmly bitter, but still quite malty; clean and steely, almost bracing in flavor; very nice! Iznogud (5072) - CROATIA - SEP 24, 2017
Bottle, 341 ml at Svijet Piva. shared with JFK10000 and others. Pours dark orange to brown with medium white head. Malty, caramel, some dried fruit, grainy. Light to moderate sweetness. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied. Not my favorite style, but not bad at all. FatPhil (17741) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 11, 2017

Deep red, brief head. Sweet malty aroma, lagery. More serious taste, dry woody bitterness, and not-too-sweet maltiness. Palate full, smooth, a little sticky from sugars, pleasant carbonation. Finish has an almost peppery dryness on the tongue, and a resiny tingle - nice! Did try it with some yeast in, and it was mellower but lacked the bite of the clean pour.
Bottle (thanks fatphil). Pours red amber. Aroma is sweet, malt, dry, grainy. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, caramel, fruits, dryness. Finish is dry bitter. Overall: very good.
