COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
NOTE - This is the entry for the carbonated cuivrée. The still version exists as Les Vergers de la Colline Cuivré. This entry is only available in 355 ml bottles and on draft. The very best of Great Britain and Québec! Amber colored bubbles, persistent yet extremely fine. Complex nose characterized by an aromatic medley of cantaloupe, grapefruit, honey, linden flower and maple syrup reduction. Taste buds first notice sea salt, then honey melon and, as a finale, a note of orange. Our particular concentration technique gives it an exquisite lightness combined with an expressive tang intended for seasoned and discerning palate. A five-star cider which high alcohol content blends in quite smoothly, seamlessly... a true sensory feast to enjoy nice and easy! Excellent with succulent braised pork spiced up with thyme or a lamb rack jazzed up with rosemary.

Sidra canadiense tomada en el Kraken. Color rubio transparente. Burbuja fina como el cava. Apenas genera espuma. Sabor fresco. Un poco seca. Frutal. No suelo tomar muchas sidras. Interesante. Bien

Buena.

On tap at Noctem. Pours a clear pale golden with no visible carbonation or legs. Nose is of tart apples, flesh and skin. Taste is moderately tart and super dry with crisp apple flavors. Light body with a medium-high carbonation and a tannic mouthfeel. Interesting!

Bottle split. Clear deep gold pour with no head, a few bubbles stick to the edge of the glass. Aroma is nice and fruity, boozy winey notes. Taste is tart, quite fruity, light tropical notes, definitely some booze. Palate is med bodied, rather dry, nice carbonation, I dig the palate. Good.

Appearance: Clear yellow-golden with a small ring of white bubbles.

Aroma: White wine, sour green apples, honey notes and hints of vanilla.

Taste: Green apples, moderate sourness, little to no sweetness, honeyed notes, light vanilla presence and a tiny bit of alcohol but nothing close to what I expected considering the abv.

Palate: Medium body. Just a bit of bubbles to give some life to the mouthfeel. Green apples finish. A tad warming.

Overall: Impressive drinkable for the abv, which is really well hidden. Tasty stuff, rather quenching and enjoyable. Tartness is moderate, but still is the key to the balance.

Sampled at Mondial 2015 with Linh, Ken and Nica. Pours a clear body with light off-color tint of golden yellow. Mouthfeel is medium and dry with notes of dry spice, herbal spice, light perfume and some tart apple character.

Abv makes the beer a little hot but also gives it a little complexity. First taste is distinctly apple, flavor is a little sour and not full body. It not sweet which makes this cider above average to start

(Rating #5474)
