Ignite your passion with this unique multigrain beer. This golden ale is brewed in the typical belgian tradition and brewer's knowledge. The golden color radiates warmth and noblesse. The recipe is based on barley, oats and wheat. Historically the combination of these three grains has proven to be the ideal one. Coriander and spice are to be found in the nose. The smooth flavour is very well balanced and combines a slight acidity with a sweet body and a subtle bitter finish. Alcohol is 7 vol.

(Bottled, 0.33l) Opaque orange with a largeish, very persistent, creamy and lacy almost Duvely head. Very fruity, sweetish-orangey, grainy-pale-malty aroma. Slightly acidic, fruity and mildly yeasty flavor again much like Duvel, only smoother, thicker, and with less hops. Medium-bodied with pretty smooth carbonation. A simple and straightforward recipe, but it seems to work surprisingly well, and doesnt irritate in any way. You dont always have to try to be different as long as you brew enjoyable beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Bottle # 573 of 3000. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a handsome and frothy, white head, leaving some laces. Some bad looking flocculation. Medium body with sweetish, malty accents and both yeast, fruit and diacetyl. The alcohol is rather pushy dispite the only 6.4%. A boring Belgian. 170906

[Ive sampled the new version brewed at De Proef] An orange beer with yeast sediment floating around under a beige head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and malty. The flavor is sweet yeasty combined with notes of peaches. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky. A boring mainstream Belgian Ale.

Bottle at Plan B, shared with Mette, recommenden by Dixen. A lovely belgian blonde. It is a type i finde it hard to get. But this one i find very good. A fresh, high carbonated blonde. Green applea, yeast, fresh, peach, hop. Aftertaste: Licorice, hop. Almost champagne like...
