COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ignite your passion with this unique multigrain beer. This golden ale is brewed in the typical belgian tradition and brewer's knowledge. The golden color radiates warmth and noblesse. The recipe is based on barley, oats and wheat. Historically the combination of these three grains has proven to be the ideal one. Coriander and spice are to be found in the nose. The smooth flavour is very well balanced and combines a slight acidity with a sweet body and a subtle bitter finish. Alcohol is 7° vol.

[I’ve sampled the new version brewed at De Proef] An orange beer with yeast sediment floating around under a beige head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and malty. The flavor is sweet yeasty combined with notes of peaches. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky. A boring mainstream Belgian Ale.

(Bottle 75 cl) Bottle # 573 of 3000. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a handsome and frothy, white head, leaving some laces. Some bad looking flocculation. Medium body with sweetish, malty accents and both yeast, fruit and diacetyl. The alcohol is rather pushy dispite the only 6.4%. A boring Belgian. 170906

TBone (17542) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2009
Bottled (at ChrisO’s). Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma has fruits and cardboard. A bit grassy, peach-apricot fruity flavor. Some spices. Boring.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2009
Draught. Cloudy orange colour. Big stable off-white head. The aroma is fruity and refreshingly citric. The flavour is sweet and nicely malty. Fruity as well, soft fruit like apricot, perhaps plum and pear. Also some spicy notes, cookie spices of some sort. Has some alcohol to balance the sweetness and spices. A pleasant surprise.

3.4
Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Martinus @ weekly tasting. Slightly unclear yellow color, small off-white head. Aroma is pretty sweet: apple, banana, kiwi, slightly herbs or spices. Taste lightly malts, moderately fruity, lightly sweet. Average body and carbonation.
