Tap at the brewery. Pours opaque black with a small, frothy tan head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is hazelnut (Nutella), chocolate, roast and coffee malt. Flavor is Nutella, coffee and earthy notes, dates, light earthy hops and a dry finish. Full body and medium carbonation. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2015

Lovely hazelnut aroma upfront, coffee, roasted, chocolate, pistachio, vanilla, salty licorice. Roasted coffee flavor, hazelnuts, pistachio, dark chocolate, vanilla, raisins, some warming alcohol, salty licorice, spicy notes. Fresh roasted coffee and hazel nut aroma. Fantastic, I love the way the hazelnuts add to the beer.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2016 Draft at night off a million zillion speedways 2012 at obriens. Dark black pour, with a thin tan head. This one is good. Tons of hazelnut, sweet milk chocolate, sweet chewy malt, nutty butter, vanilla, and cream. Yes, it is reminiscent of nutella, but better because its speedway. Nice smooth silky mouthfeel. One of my favorites for the night.
Also sampled at the Grand Prix 2015. Very good, one of the best from the event. hamilton23 (619) - Alpine, California, USA - NOV 11, 2012
On tap at Alesmith during the BA Speedway release during SDBW 2012. Pours nearly black with tan head. Aroma is peanut butter more than Nutella. Taste follows with some chocolate and peanut butter notes in there. Really great flavor. Loved this variant. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Black in color with a small khaki head. Very strong nuttiness with a lot of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Some roasted malt, a bit of banana, and maybe even a hint of peanut butter. Intense sweetness of chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnuts. Some nice roast, plenty of coffee, and dark chocolate. A bit of banana and peanut butter character to it, too. UPDATED: JUN 10, 2016 Tap at O’Brien’s for Night of a Million Zillion Speedways. Pours ink with minimal red foam. Nose is animal, some off aroma, muted peanut butter. Taste is decent- raw and bitter nut shells, stickier. Palate is still excellent, but the Nutella flavor was more evident with the Peanut Butter Speedway where the already intense chocolate character of Speedway creates "Nutella" naturally on the palate. This seems to not be working unfortunately compared to the peanut butter version. 11/8/2012 7/4/7/5/14=3.7
Tap at AleSmith for Speedway Grand Prix 2015. Big hazelnut nose and taste. Good spicy body and flavorful aftertaste. It’s one note on the hazelnut, but they nailed it. 11/12/15 8/4/8/4/16=4.0
