Tap at brewery. Earthy roast. Dark chestnut, off white golden cream. Dry grassy, roasted, earthy. Chewy dry, light orange peel, chocolate almond roast. 👍

Gravity pour from the Pittermännchen-style Fass. Hazy brown-amber color with white head. Aroma is roasted malts, nutty, earthy, a bit farty. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, barnyard, earthy. Silky mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very rustic, but tasty.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, bread and toast. Malty, slightly roasted taste with caramel, dark bread, toast and a dry finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

On tap at the brewery, 8.10.17. CLear honey-gold with a thick white head. Nutty, slightly oily, grassy and hoppy notes in the nose, bitter and hoppy, a little less nuts in the mouth. Medium body, fizzy, bitter and nutty finish.

500ml bottle - shared by Karmo - thanks! (7:4:7:4:13+=3.5+)
Lovely rich malty aroma, grainy, but clean. Barley all over the taste too. Super dunkel, just what I look for in the style. Great drinkability, but a fullish palate too.

Frisch vom Hahn im Muted Horn. Klares Kuperbraun im Glas mit dünner Schaumdecke. In der Nase zurückhaltend. Schöne Bitternoten kommen auf, bleiben aber nicht.

Marduk (8628) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 27, 2017
500ml bottle (thanks Karmo). Clear dark chestnut color. Small size, beige bubbly head, stays. Grainy, sour kraut, caramel, metallic in aroma. Husky, caramel, malty, dusty, herbal hops in taste. Nice dry mouthfeel. Hopping is nice, but lacks of dunkel body. Drinkable brew.

Tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fa, Rome-Italy. Amber clear pour which talks to cola, frothy and tick amberish foam. Nose: charming and seducing caramel, nuts, pastry. Hidden roast and grass. Wow. Mouth: medium carbo, roast pils, rustic crumb, aggressively burnt malts. Peculiar and tasty dunkel. Just great.
