Leute Bok ale is a dark red heavy beer, top fermented and refermented in the bottle. The aroma and taste is unique and striking, not too sweet, but full and smooth on the tongue.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. A light reddish brown, almost clear with an off-white ring of head. Smells of toffee, forest fruits, gentle potpourri. Sweet, sweet taste, a little sickly for me if truth be told, but theres a light rounding cherry sourness of the boozy finish. Clove and sour cherry in the aftertaste. Massive carbonation. It rightsizes in the end but there are fairly obvious balance issues. Too much of a muchness.

[Butelka 07.04.2019[ Barwa ciemnobursztynowa, klarowna. Piana bardzo obfita, powoli redukująca się. Aromat słodowo-chlebowy, w tle owocowe estry. W smaku dochodzi karmel. Wysokie wysycenie, alkohol odczuwalny.

(330ml bottle)
Aroma: Earthy, little malt...
Appearance: Enourmous head (overcarbonated for sure), dark read liquid, clear.
Taste: Sweet, flavour is mainly sweeteness - esters maybe and earth and nothing more to be honest. Also a little bit of smth like citric acid. Like a bad lager for sure.
Palate: Light (to none) body, fizzy carbonation.
Overall: I wasn’t expecting much, but this beer showed me exactly nothing (besides earth, hell man, I can eat earth anytime for free). And this citric acid thing is awful.

Yeast aroma. Medium sweetness. There were no typical bock flavours. Alcohol well hidden.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2017 Owocowe estry, karmelki, trochę ciemnego pieczywa. Dość lekkie, niedużo ciała. Bardzo wysokie wysycenie, niska goryczka.

Solid Belgian beer with a lot of peach in aroma and taste. Beer is complemented by bread notes that give a lot of body.

33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy, dark brown colour. Malty aroma of caramel and chocolate, with some sweet fruits and honey. Taste is similar.

Vinx (133) - ITALY - MAR 27, 2017
Aroma of apple, banana, red fruit, caramel. Clear amber color (it’s not refermented in bottle) with a long lasting white foam. Sweet, short aftertaste, a little oxydation. Medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, a little astringent. It’s a decent beer but so so far from a real good belgian one because it lacks so much in yeast complexity which is the conditio sine qua non for this style.

midovark (889) - Balassagyarmat, HUNGARY - MAR 24, 2017
Bottled. Pours deep brown colour with beige head. Tart grape/wine-like and woody notes in aroma. In taste it has the same notes, tart and sweet in well balance with a long, warm finish. Surprisingly light bodied, softly carbonated and therefore easy to drink. Nice brew.
