COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lewis Osterweis Hard Ginger Beer is a wheat beer with a ginger bite. The body is lighter than a normal wheat beer, but the sweetness plays well with the tartness and spicy snap of the ginger.

Bottle. Yellow small head. Smells of ginger, wheat, grass. Taste is slightly sweet on the tip followed by a slightly soapy taste and long linger of burning ginger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malt, yeast, and ginger nose. Clear amber, sparkling, thick head. Cane sugar, ginger. Subtle maltiness.Light, easy carbonation, spicy heat. Artificial sweetness, but still somewhat beery. Just the right amount of ginger.

Aroma is spices, wheat and slightly beery. The flavor is ginger, spices, citrus/orange and slight heat/wheat/beery in the finish.

Bottle from Schlafly in the STL airport. I can see this being a polarizing beer, but its decent for me. Mostly clear light orange pour with a small spotty white head. Aroma is ginger, lemon, and tea. Nice ginger bite on taste, with a hint of pepper late.

From a bottle. Minimal head, pale straw color, sweet aroma and flavor, balanced well with a spicy backbone. Usually a hop head but I enjoyed this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head. Notes of ginger, sweet and pale malts, sugar, pepper, and straw. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, spicy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Very good ginger beer

A clear golden beer with a small white head. The aroma is toasted sweet grain, a little ginger. The flavor is very sweet with huge ginger spiciness lingering on the tongue and throat.
