Beer 39 Asheville trip. Medium orange. Light aroma of caramel and some citric hops. Flavor is a match, bit of grapefruit on the finish with the hops. Pretty standard APA, again, not bad, but not that interesting. blipp (9168) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 14, 2012
Draft. Pours amber orange with a white head. Light citric hoppy aroma with sweet malty notes. Well balanced flavor with floral and lightly citric hops, along with a light caramel malty sweetness. Better than their IPA. Braudog (6674) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Draft at the brewpub. Medium amber color. Crisp and angular with a lightly citric appeal. Bit light bodied, but very flavorful and enjoyable. My favorite at LAB. (#4307, 10/5/2011) tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - SEP 5, 2011

Pours cloudy yellow orange with a little head. Medium floral aromas and citrus peel. Full bodied, light floral and orange hops, fairly lingering finish. Good. Not wildly complex or exciting, but good. ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 10, 2011
Appearance: Dropped off at the open air table a faintly hazed, copper-toned body with a scant, white head.
Smell: A composite aroma made up of notes smelling of pale malted barley, light caramel, and citrus peels.
Taste: Simple, humble pale malted barley with no more than a minor touch of caramel sweetness. Pithy, lightly fruity citrus taste. Medium bitterness. A bit of pine. Finishes expectedly dry with a little bitter lingering into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: You’ll find no bells and whistles here, just a basic pale ale.
