Tasted on 7/29/12 on draft at the brewpub with Erika. Pours hazy burnt orange with a thick white head that leaves sticky lace. The nose is simple and clean with light bread malt and some spicy hops. The flavor is the same with the bitter hops coming through very nicely. The body is light with average, stinging carbonation, and a medium spicy and bitter hops finish. jandd1983 (4276) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 8, 2014
Sampled at the Village Pub. It poured a golden straw color with a white head. The aroma and taste were pretty true to the style. It was fairly fruity and sweet; with moderate bitterness and a smooth malt flavor. It was a little heavy on the tongue. Suttree (6360) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 20, 2012
I am trying to learn to appreciate the virtues of lighter, delicate styles like Kolsch. This doesn’t help. Stale, cardboard flavors, plus some corn. Not much else. brentfeesh (1208) - Mansfield, Ohio, USA - SEP 14, 2012
Dark yellow pour with minimal head. Very lightly hoppy aroma with a touch of grass. A bit hoppy. Grain and grassy hops dominate the flavor. Light bodied with a dry finish. Not bad.

Draft in a flight at the brewpub. Poured golden with a relatively small head. I didn’t find this beer too remarkable; struck me as a relatively standard kolsch. Somewhat of the characteristics of a lager, but a crisp and relatively easy drink.
