I got this from a few bottles back on the shelf, but the fluorescent tube was nearby. Poured with a small, off white head and a little lace. Color is a clear yellow. Aroma is firstly cabbage, then malt, grain. Flavor isnt as bad. Heavy grain and mildly sweet. Body is ok and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and on the short side. Nice label. Should be stored better.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange golden with a medium creamy white head that lasts awhile leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a sweet corn malt and cereal. Medium mouthfeel and a bit watery with a corn malt and cereal flavor. Not too much with this pale lager from Carlsberg.

Boutip (6214) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 9, 2010
Bottle: Poured a light yellow color lager with a small pure white bubbly head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of light crisp hops is quite subtle with lightly sweet malt notes. Taste somewhat bland with light notes of Saaz hops and a lightly sweet malt backbone. Carbonation is too low for style and this is too boring to be a regular beer around my place.

Clean beer with a mellow flavor. A little dull, but soft on the palate and refreshing. Some yeast in the bottle. Not bad, but I wont be spedning money on this again.

Clear, yellow, good head. Aroma is a bit vegetal. Taste is very malty and slightly sweet. Better than I thought it would be, but still not much going on.

Bottle from the Co-op in Davis, CA. Pours a lightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Sort of a lightly sweet odor with not much hop. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Its clean. It has a smidge of grassy bitter. Its harmless. Damning with faint praise.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head and a standard lager aroma. There is a decent pale malt flavor with light hop bitterness. Very refreshing, but otherwise unremarkable.

Sampled on 8/13/2010. This pale lager pours a light to medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, grainy and spicy. A medium to light bodied pale lager. The malts are cereal, grainy and a little sweet. The hops are herbal and spicy. Decent carbonation, and somewhat on the sweetish side. Its definitely a pale lager, not much going on otherwise flavor wise. Nothing really bad tasting here, but it is much better cold. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
