Probably my favorite Asian lager. Tastes of honey, malt. Sweet and very interesting, and quite drinkable. A bit more ’rugged’ considering the floaties and somewhat unrefined taste.

Pours pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Grass, grain and floral aroma and flavors. Light body and average carbonation. Grain finish. MichaelAwesome (6545) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2014
In Leuven in einem kleinen marokkanischen Shop geholt. Angenehm süffig und mit einem mild-malzigen Hintergrund. Etwas Reis und Süße zum Schluss. Nicht schlecht. McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 27, 2014
Bottle bought in Leuven. Pours out in a clear light golden colour with low head and thin to medium body. Aroma of grains and thin barley. Taste of light hops, light malt, grains, light sour bread and straw. Grainy and bready finish. Boring. DiarmaidBHK (5896) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2013
Bottle from AJ’s Fine foods Scottsdale. Pours bright yellow with an inch of white foam. The head disappears quickly and it clouds up as it warms. This may be called Lhasa beer but it smells like a llama shit in it. A little skunky in the tongue with a bit of corn oil as well. Boring and not that tasty. Light gold color looks to be unfiltered. Tastes a lot like tsing tao illidurit (2458) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle from some beers of the world mix pack. Yellow with slimy head. Aroma and flavor heavy on green apple/acetaldehyde. Sticky unclean beer. ronaldtheriot (1994) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - MAY 9, 2013
Lhasa Beer has a thick, foamy, white head and a somewhat murkey, bubbly, golden straw appearance, with some sticky lacing sheen and lots of little brown chunks floating about. The aroma is of quite sweet, syrupy rice and honey. Taste is of dank, old rice and sweet bread, with a strong overall barley malt flavor and a nice mild hoppy background. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy, and Lhasa Beer finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and different. Overall, this is a very good and interesting beer. RJT brittanynl (42) - Rowlett, Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2013
A sour yeasty smell watery pallet great lacing though was impressed that along with the lacing it was unfiltered which was a pleasant surprise! Not too bad
