On tap at Cohill’s. Pours black with a thick tan head. Creamy texture and good balance of chocolate and roasted malts. Solid porter. BroSpud (2259) - , Massachusetts, USA - FEB 1, 2014
On draft at the brewpub. This is the one I chose after sampling everything they had the night I stopped in. Nice dark pour with a creamy tan head. Rich malt flavors but not too sweet. Great porter.
Draft @ Run of the Mill. Thin head, beige color and frothy. Soft carbonation. Nose of Chocolate malt. Flavor is roasted with coffee notes, light chocolate and hints of caramel. Pretty simple, kind of average, but enjoyable and this could be an everyday drinker. Body is on the lighter side of medium. Worth a pint. rejtable (2847) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012
Draft from brewpub. Pours pitch black with a light tan head that dissipates. Aroma espresso and chocolate. Nice bitter finish. Light carbon with creamy mouthfeel.

(Draft @ brewpub) A decent porter...Pours very dark brown. Only a thin biege head but shaker had been filled virtually to top. Nose is mostly chocolate with some coffee. Mouthfeel lightly fizzy, a little thin but probably OK for style. Light sloppy lacing. Flavor is fairly deep dark chocolate along with a bit of coffee roastiness. Hints of grassiness on back end. Lightly bitter. Pretty good - liked the depth of flavor. BigBen2120 (687) - Derry, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 14, 2007
On-tap at the brewpub. Black body with ruby-red highlights and about an inch of tan head. Smells sweet and roasty with a hint of hops. Tastes like roasted caramel and burnt malt. Medium-to light bodied. A little lighter in flavor than expected, but otherwise flawless IMO. Pretty good porter. ruggedman (647) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUN 17, 2006
On tap at the brewpub 6/16/06. Pours a very dark brown/black. Head is big bubbles foamy with a pretty dark color to it. This is a mean looking porter! Aroma is coffee, bitter chocolate, and sweet malt. Tast is pretty much the same but you get a hint of caramel in there too. In the competitive world of porters this stacks up average maybe slightly above in my book.
