Nose is on the thin side, toasted malts, light fruit, grass.
Taste comprises light caramel, faint hop profile, toasted malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, light bitterness in the finale.

Sir John Oldcastle Spoons. Cask. Hazy amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Smooth airy malt, a little cream. Nice mellow ripe orange hops. Smooth finish. Well balanced and drinkable.

High Cross Leicester. Amber colour. Subtle malt aroma. Taste is biscuity with nice hoppy bitterness. Bitterness lingers. Quite drinkable, decent enough.

Taste of soft fruity malts, light caramel malts, slight spicy soft bitter hops, easy, mellow
Palate - Medium body, very soft bitter, good texture. Finish as main flavour, mellow soft citrus, soft bitter
Overall - Easy going, quite a decent beer, nothing stands out but well put together as a whole
cask.pours a rich orange/copper/brown. aroma is very hoppy and malty. tastes of biscuits, hops and a bit of caramel. nice.
